I am so excited to share this wedding at Longworth Hall with you!
Where to even start with these two?! Hailee & Alex had been friends for almost a decade. They met in high school, and truly- they were just good friends. Until they decided to take a weekend trip together.. and the rest is history!!
It was such an honor to document their love story but there are a couple of incredible take aways that I would like to point out:
Their wedding day happened in the middle of a national pandemic. At the time we probably didn’t all realize that in just 1-2 more days the country would shut down and weddings would temporarily be illegal. Wow! And much as I wish that it wasn’t a part of their story- it is.
And as if that wasn’t enough for one day there is more!
Their wedding day also happened in the rain.
& Alex’s pants may have ripped (shout out to the tailor who showed up at the photo location fixed it lightning quick)
But all of this to say- They never stopped smiling. Yes that is right- No one complained- not even about the rain!
This wedding day was just so full of absolute joy. Hailee & Alex’s wedding day is a reminder of just how strong we can be. How strong love is. And a reminder of what we are capable of handing and how much perspective and attitude play a role in that.
People are resilient. Love isn’t cancelled or postponed. And that through adversity we will always grow stronger.
