MY BIO

I am Midwest photographer serving the greater Cincinnati area and I have the honor of telling wedding stories.

I have 4 sisters aka BFFs, an incredible husband, and a spoiled rescue dog. I love binge watching Netflix series (current obsessions- The Office, Gilmore Girls and Grey's Anatomy), enjoying margaritas and eating too much ice cream.
I will probably drink at least 2 Coca- Colas on your wedding day. Guilty pleasure.  I love 90s music, lazy days spent under blankets, and anything floral print.

When I was a senior in college in 2013/2014 I interned with a wedding photographer after applying with the credentials - "I watch Say Yes to the Dress." Luckily it worked because it changed my life.

As a recent bride myself I understand that your wedding images are the first heirlooms that you have as you enter into marriage and this brand new journey together. I believe in documenting the beginning of your legacy so that these images will hang on walls of your home, be there for future generations to look at, and that they will serve as reminders when you need them the most.

There is nothing in the world quite like your love story, and I can't wait to preserve these moments, exactly as they are for you.

After booking, we'll schedule your engagement session. This is one of our favorite parts of the wedding photography process!  I love getting to know all of my couples not only as clients, but as friends! This kind of relationship is essential in making your images intimate and personal. This is why engagement sessions are so important!

I will be by your side for almost your entire wedding day - so I want you to feel comfortable! Engagement sessions act as a “test run” for you two in front of the camera and as a way for us to get to know each other.

Once the wedding day rolls around, you'll be pros!

IT ALL STARTED...

In 2010 I was a sophomore in college and my grandma was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I spent a lot of time with her as her cancer took over and her health became worse. On one occasion I brought a camera along with me to her house. She was no longer able to communicate. I talked to her, showed her my new camera and when I did my grandpa leaned over and gave her a kiss.
She smiled.
She was with us.
And I captured it on camera.
That was the the last time I ever saw her smile, she passed away 4 days later.

This was the first time I witnessed the power documentation in photos. I take photos so that you can remember the fleeting moments, the messy and real moments, the joyful moments and everything in between so that those moments can last forever.

A wedding day can feel just like this -fleeting moments- gone in a blink of the eye. That is where my job comes in.. To preserve these moments in your history so that these moments are not gone forever, but forever here to stay.

After booking, we'll schedule your engagement session. With a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Cincinnati's College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning and over three years of experience shooting weddings, you can trust that I am dedicated to preserving some of your life's sweetest moments.
From rainy outdoor ceremonies, late timelines, and everything in between I am prepared you serve you and your families and remind you that this day only happens once- embrace every crazy, unplanned yet perfect moment.

Believes that they are planning a marriage, not just a wedding (but can't wait to get it on the dance floor!!)

Is joyful and laughs easily.

Is genuine and caring and makes everyone around her feel good.

Loves movie nights at home, ice cream and popcorn with Netlix reruns (Seinfeld, anyone?!)

Might ugly cry at her wedding (It's okay, I'll cry with you).

Organized but can also go with the flow. (So important on a wedding day!)

Knows some things only margaritas can cure ;)

Can't wait to marry their best friend!

MY RESCUE
DOG

Yes, I am one of those crazy dog ladies :)
My dog, Jax, is about as spoiled as they get, he even
sleeps on the pillows and gets lots of treats!

Being a fur-mama is my favorite thing in the
world and so is connecting with other animal lovers.

We love to go on hikes, play with other dogs,
walk to coffee shops and take long naps (especially this).

MARGARITAS

On the rocks and with salt, please!

I am a firm believe there is nothing that a margarita (or a bubble bath) cannot cure.

READING

I love a good read!
I am passionate about English and literature. I was actually an English major for a year in college before I transferred to the art department to get my BFA.

When I finish a great book I actually get depressed for a few days when it is over. I love quotes from literature, too and I love hearing quotes incorporated into a wedding ceremony or decor.

ICE CREAM

Ice Cream is a complete food group in my life that I believe I can live off of.

Can I get an Amen?
