Lauren, Chris and Joslyn are a very special family to me and I am so excited to share their family session! I met Lauren years (maybe 8 years ago?!) ago when we waitressed at the same restaurant. She is a graphic designer and I was in art school so we immediately clicked .She was like my soul sister instantly- she was creative, passionate, driven and strong. She married my brother-in-laws brother so now we are like real sisters!
When Chris and Lauren welcomed their sweet baby girl, Jos, into the world they were thrown into the unknown.. spending her first 7 months of her life in the NICU at Children’s Hospital. Joslyn is so strong, just like her parents!
The first time I took photos of them they were in the hospital and my heart could have burst with how much love I have for her and their whole family. This time we spent their session at a much different location and we enjoyed the late summer evening together at Eden Park celebrating their family and everything they have overcome, and the new baby boy arriving in December!
