Wedding planning can be overwhelming for sure but it is also a lot of fun! There are so many ways that you can personalize your wedding day to make sure that it feels like YOURS and one of the best way to do this is through your details. I love photographing wedding details because it is one of the best ways for me to see the style and intention behind your wedding day.
Here are a few of my favorite things:
Heirloom Photographs
Some people choose to create a memorial table or have a table that showcases wedding photos from generations. I love this idea because vintage photos are so special and a great way to honor your family.
Perfume
Nothing takes you back to a moment like triggering one of your senses. Getting a new scent for your wedding day is a great way to ensure that every time you wear that perfume you are taken straight back to your special day.
Wedding Hangers
This is one detail that is easy to forget about but really changes the look of your dress and creates a more elegant and refined photo. I wish bridal stores would sell their gowns on beautiful hangers out the door because there is nothing worse than a gorgeous, expensive designer gown hung on a clear plastic hanger. Shoes
This one is that you can have fun with. Show your personality with your shoes!!
Florals
Nothing elevates your wedding day more than gorgeous florals. They are appealing to all of the scents and can fill a space, set the mood, and change the atmosphere. Van Gogh was not wrong with his obsession with florals because, c’mon, who can blame him?!
P.S. If the florals can come early while your photographer is styling your details and can bring any loose/ extra blooms it will make all of your details look extra pretty 🙂
